DATABASE DESIGN PROJECT

A unique challenge, the Records Management Office needed an efficient system to link record classification and retention schedules. Thus, my goal was to develop a Microsoft Access relational database that managed this information.

I met with my user-group and developed a deliverable checklist, work breakdown structure, schedule, and project charter. We had weekly meetings to discuss ideas and make sure database was meeting their goals and needs. In the end, we created a database that helped streamline the data-entry process. I also developed a user-friendly manual for their new database.
