RESULT
Ultimately, we conglomerated the information from these various parts to develop our finished product. For the scope of our particular project, the finished products were the wireframes. We started with traditional, paper wireframes before finishing with polished, Balsamiq wireframes as shown above.

PROCESS
We began our project by identifying Murchie’s internal and external stakeholders. We then completed a user needs analysis and developed user surveys, sample personas, and a competitor analysis. Next, we completed a task analysis to help develop an adjusted navigation system and information architecture by asking a few users to complete a card-sort activity.

MURCHIE'S TEA: WEBSITE WIREFRAME
As tea enthusiasts, my colleague and I collaborated on a website redesign of the BC business, Murchie’s Fine Tea, for our Information Design course project. For decades, Murchie’s has asserted a strong devotion to quality. Ironically, quality failed to transfer over from its tea and coffee to its website—which brewed an interface steeped in antiquity. Its design was not only unappealing but displayed a marketing weakness in comparison to its competitors’ online presence.
